I’m really proud of my seven-year tenure with my previous company. Over those years, I grew significantly, mastered my technical skills, and built a strong track record.
When the 3-month Team Leader Apprenticeship came up, I took it as a great opportunity to challenge myself and understand the operational side of leadership.
Because the apprenticeship was a temporary assignment and part of the leadership course I´m taking. There wasn't an immediate full-time leadership opening in my department at the time, so I returned to my core role where I continued to act as a mentor/SME.
While I haven't used Salesforce directly, I am deeply familiar with CRM logic through my experience managing customer accounts, order histories, and merchant data in Shopify Plus. Whether it’s tracking customer interactions, segmenting profiles, or reviewing account logs, the core data structure and workflow are identical to Salesforce—it’s just a different interface to manage the same customer lifecycle.
I handle issue tracking and technical escalations daily in my current technical workflow. Managing merchant tickets, categorizing issues by severity, attaching diagnostic logs, and routing bug reports to engineering teams in Shopify follows the exact same agile ticket lifecycle as Jira. Learning Jira’s specific UI will take me no time at all because the underlying escalation logic is second nature to me.
While I haven't worked directly inside Jira or Salesforce yet, I perform those exact functions daily through our technical tools in Shopify Plus. For CRM workflows like Salesforce, I routinely manage complex customer profiles, account histories, and data segmentation. For project and bug tracking like Jira, I follow structured ticketing processes—identifying root causes, attaching log diagnostics, prioritizing severity, and escalating bugs to developer queues.
Because I already have the foundational understanding of CRM systems and agile ticket management, adapting to Jira or Salesforce is just a matter of learning a new menu layout. I’ve always picked up new software platforms very quickly.
One thing you won’t find on my resume is that in my personal time, I´m a stage mom (single mom of 2 girls), I spend quality time with them, prepare them for school. I also make sure I have my own ´me time´ where I go to mall by myself, book appointment for a massage or anything related to self care, and treat myself for a quick lunch outside. This keeps me grounded, and ensures that when I come to work, I bring a fresh, focused energy to support my team. I want to make sure I have that work life balance and ability to stay grounded under pressure.
First, my immediate priority is communication. To instantly notify my manager about the situation and proceed with my next plan which is: connecting to my phone’s mobile hotspot in the meantime. I also have a high capacity powerbank that I can use.
